Director of Clinical Services
With a passionate commitment to helping children in distress, Erin spearheads our mission to provide impactful treatment to struggling youth. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose heartfelt commitment and genuine love for the teens in our care has seen her promoted to Manager of Clinical Services. In her new role, Erin supports the facility Program Managers with an intense and inspiring resolve that motivates and energizes staff and clients alike. At Adolescent Growth, Erin is known for her client-centered approach which goes beyond treatment as usual. She has cultivated an environment where startling results and miraculous transformations take place on a daily basis.
Erin comes to us all the way from Long Island, New York where she attended the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. There she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. Dedicated and deeply focused, Erin moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to pursue her passion of working with young people. During her time in Ft. Lauderdale she provided individual, group and family counseling to at-risk youth and juvenile offenders. This rewarding experience drove Erin to pursue a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Psychological Studies.
Erin brings to Adolescent Growth an abundance of valuable clinical experience. In the past she has worked with a number of prominent treatment centers as well as an inpatient psychiatric unit, where she refined her knowledge and skills in the areas of crisis care and stabilization. After working in crisis care, Erin was a manager at a juvenile corrections facility where she attended to the needs of at-risk youth with consummate compassion and care.
Erin’s arrival at Adolescent Growth was a serendipitous event; “When I first came to Adolescent Growth, I knew this was where I was meant to be. I strongly believe that a holistic approach including mind, body and spirit is necessary for recovery. Adolescent Growth goes beyond the basics of good quality therapy and provides an additional focus on fitness, nutrition, family involvement and alumni support that enhances the treatment and has the potential to create lifelong change.”
When she is not working Erin enjoys the outdoors, especially the beach. She loves “do-it-yourself” projects as well as cooking and baking for family and friends. She always has time for fitness, yoga, running on the beach and attending fitness classes. But above all, Erin values the time she spends with her beloved husband and their two adorable dogs.
