Nicole Walther, MA, LCPC

Program Manager

Nicole is a dynamic licensed clinician who specializes in treating adolescents. She serves as the Program Manager for the Lombard program and her role consists of offering nurturing support to troubled teens, facilitating the impactful Weekend Restoration Workshops for the families and providing incomparable supervision and direction to the entire treatment staff. Nicole works closely with the psychiatrist and the other clinicians on the team to ensure the highest standard of care is given to each family we aid. She sacrificially dedicates herself to the families each day and we are grateful to have her spearheading the team.

Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on the United States Naval Base, commitment was modeled to her from those around her at an early age. Her family later moved to Elk Grove Village, Illinois where Nicole’s love for helping others was birthed. Nicole attended Northern Illinois University and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Later she graduated from Roosevelt University in Illinois where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. Nicole is a bright woman, possessing the distinction of licensure. And, as a Licensed Clinician, Nicole provides the needed direction to the staff in a caring and competent manner.

Occupationally, Nicole has an extensive background in the helping field. Nicole has obtained years of invaluable experience conducting therapy and crisis intervention for children, adolescents and young adults in settings including outpatient, schools, residential treatment centers, group homes and psychiatric hospitals. Moreover, she has continued to cultivate her craft throughout the years working as the clinical supervisor of a residential facility that specialized in substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Nicole is the ideal person to lead Adolescent Growth in Lombard.

Nicole professes that she is excited to be working at Adolescent Growth as the Program Manager and asserts that, “everyone is dedicated to providing the clients with the best quality of care. Also, we work as a team to be sure that the clients are getting what they need, and we are all willing to jump in and help out whenever necessary. Those things combined, make coming to work enjoyable”.

When she is not working, some activities that Nicole likes to engage in are going out to eat, shopping, watching movies and spending time with family.

We at Adolescent Growth are indeed blessed to have her.
