Arturo Rodriquez
Arturo serves as the Academic Coordinator at our Lombard location, and he brings years of experience creatively writing and pursuing positions that support being an educator and mentor to others around him. Born and raised in Illinois, Arturo received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Drake University in Des Moines, IA.
Arturo has always had a passion for working to bring the best out of others. Prior to joining Adolescent Growth, Arturo obtained extensive experience working in leadership capacities helping equip students. Arturo is passionate about teaching and believes in education and mentorships’ ability to enrich young people’s minds. Some of his core teaching values include parent support/education, flexibility, evidence-based practice, and advocacy. Moreover, Arturo believes meeting his students and families where they are is paramount as no two students are the same, therefore an individualized approach is most favorable to academic success. As the Academic Facilitator at Adolescent Growth, Arturo’s role is to empower clients by aiding them in successful achievements academically while in treatment.
Arturo shares he loves working at Adolescent Growth because he loves helping adolescents understand their true potential and bringing it out of them. Arturo understands the importance of education and the opportunities that can come from being educated. In addition, Arturo wants to ensure that the kids’ strengths are focused on while enhancing their work ethics when it comes to topics that cause them to struggle. Arturo relishes being part of the caring team and advocating for quality mental health care for adolescents.
Arturo discloses he is a hug sports fan, supporting both the Buffalo Bills and even more intensely committed to the Chicago Bulls. When he is not at work Arturo loves watching the games with the entire gamete of accompanying emotions. He also loves to write and nurture his creative side.
