Maintaining Joint Commission accreditation means adhering to Joint Commission standards at all times. Accredited sites are subject to both announced and unannounced visits by Joint Commission staff who assess the services that are being delivered. Joint Commission surveyors are certified professionals who are looking to evaluate the services being delivered and make recommendations for constant improvement in areas including treatment planning, hygiene practices, outcome measures, medication administration and more.
During an onsite visit the Joint Commission reviews the treatment plans for a random selection of clients. Services provided are reviewed from beginning to end in an effort to evaluate the quality of care received at the facility. They interview our therapists, nurses, doctors and other members of the treatment team to ensure strict compliance with their policies.
Adolescent Growth has held the coveted Joint Commission Gold Seal of Excellence since our inception. This award is an internationally recognized symbol of quality of care. Organizations that have achieved the Gold Seal have proven their commitment to the highest quality patient care and maintains a willingness to be measured against the highest standards of performance.
“You guys have the best treatment facilities in town.”
– Terri, JC Surveyor for more than 20 years.
We proudly display the Gold Seal as a symbol of our continuing commitment to providing the best possible services to you and your loved ones. Each of our levels of care (Residential, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient) is evaluated regularly. Parents and clients are asked to review their facility at discharge and this feedback is used for continual training and quality assurance.
